By creating a Waarp account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use Waarp.
Waarp is an app for meeting people nearby — you can host or join an activity, or broadcast that you are free right now and see who is around. Waarp introduces people to each other. It does not vet, background-check, endorse or supervise anyone, and it is not a party to whatever you arrange between yourselves.
You must be at least 18 years old. You must give a real name and a working phone number, and you may hold only one personal account. If we remove your account you may not create another one.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or for abusive users on Waarp. Post something that breaks the rules below, or treat someone badly, and your content will be removed and your account may be terminated without warning.
You agree not to post, send, or do any of the following:
Every post, activity, message and profile can be reported from inside the app. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours, which may mean removing content, suspending an account, or terminating it permanently. You can also block any user directly, which takes effect immediately and does not wait on us.
You are responsible for what you post. We may remove content or terminate an account at our discretion where we believe these rules have been broken.
Waarp puts you in a room with strangers. Use your judgement. Meet in public places. Tell someone where you are going. Do not send money to anyone you met here. Leave if you feel uncomfortable — and use the report button, which reaches us directly.
We do not run background checks on anybody. We cannot guarantee anyone is who they say they are. Your safety when you meet someone is ultimately your own responsibility, and Waarp is not liable for what happens between you and another user offline.
Everything you post stays yours. You give us permission to store it, display it to other users, and back it up — only to the extent needed to run the app. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for safety or legal reasons.
Keep your login details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time from Settings, which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Waarp awards points for showing up and taking part. Points and levels have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and may be adjusted or reset if we find they were obtained by gaming the system.
Waarp is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. The app is currently in beta and you should expect rough edges.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Waarp is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for the conduct of other users whether online or in person, or for anything arising out of a meeting arranged through the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
You may stop using Waarp and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe you present a risk to other users.
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Thailand, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
This agreement is between you and Waarp, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app and is not responsible for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.
